The Rainbow Fish Musical

Everybody loves the international bestseller and award-winning book, The Rainbow Fish, with its wonderful message of friendship and belonging. Having shiny, multi-colored scales, Rainbow Fish is the most beautiful fish in all of the ocean, and the only one of his kind. When Rainbow Fish refuses to share his vibrant, shimmering scales, the whole ocean seems to turn against him. Unhappy that no one adores him anymore, Rainbow Fish seeks out the wise Octopus, who helps him learn that it’s far better to be admired for being kind than for being beautiful. With bubbly, energetic dialogue and staging that invites wonderful creativity and flexibility, the universal message at the heart of this delightful musical becomes much more than just a simple children’s story. It teaches that the joy of beauty is in sharing it with others.

A Little Bit of Magic

This charming play, perfect for touring, touches upon how everyone has something that makes them special and unique. Princess Patricia’s birthday is coming up, and she loves magic and spells. So, for a birthday treat, she summons all of the wizards in her kingdom to compete for the title of Wizard of the Year. Do-Nothing Dale, a little picked-upon wizard, wants to compete! But first, she needs to figure out what her little bit of magic is. On her journey to find out, she visits Musicland, Laughterland, and the Planet of Flowers meeting fun characters like Marilyn Melody and Coco the Clown along the way. Finally, she finds her gift just in time to return home for Princess Patricia’s party. This charming musical teaches us that everyone is special, and if we keep our eyes and our hearts open, we will see that we all have a little bit of magic in us.

Charlotte’s Web

Small Cast of 6 or More

A children’s timeless classic for almost 60 years and the bestselling children’s book of all time, Charlotte’s Web is brought to life in this short musical. The story begins when Fern saves the runt of the litter whom she names Wilbur. However, when Wilbur gets too big, he is taken to Uncle Zuckerman’s farm, and he is sad to no longer have a special friend of his own. That is, until he befriends a spider named Charlotte who decides to save Wilbur from the fate of all of the other pigs by weaving different phrases into her web. Through the power of friendship, Wilbur learns that while his life may be a little different than some, if we believe in ourselves and perhaps with a little additional help from our friends anything is possible!

How It Works

Teachers receive our Study Guides and Worksheets in advance. These summarize the play, highlight key concepts, and suggest discussion topics as well as give students fun activities to complete in class before or after the show.

We come to you! Our visits are coordinated by your calendar and schedule, eliminating the need for permission slips or buses. Our actors take care of everything from their wardrobe and makeup to the set and staging. They are quick, courteous, and efficient.

After the production, students get the chance to ask their most burning questions about the theatrical process, what it is like to act in a production, and more. Absolutely no question is a bad one!

A week after the show, we email asking for optional teacher/staff evaluations to ensure quality and accountability. We take your input very seriously to ensure that we provide the best quality live theatre experience for local students.

Pricing

One Show, Limit 250 Students: $1150

Two Shows, Limit 500 Students (Same Show, Same Day): $1700

Two Shows, No Limit (Different Shows, Same Day): $2500

Add More Students to the Limited Performances at a Price of $100 per 100 Students.

Tuesday and Wednesday Performances are Limited to Glynn, Brantley, Camden, Wayne, and McIntosh Counties Only.

Booking is easy! You choose your preferred show(s), time(s), and date(s) and The Encore Company takes care of everything else!

The only requirements for our performances are a 15’x15’ minimum playing space, a 12-foot ceiling clearance, and 2 power outlets nearby the playing space.
